Job summary

Shoe Sensation, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Bowling Green, OH to lead the sales team, drive customer service, and help run day-to-day store operations.

The role combines selling footwear with mentoring staff, recruiting and training, and maintaining an organized, welcoming store. The ideal candidate is 18+ with strong communication and can handle deposits and opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and leading a team.
• Willing to teach others how to sell and become a people manager.
• Able to open/close the store and work alone at times.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide their shopping experience.
• Sell shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers.
• Ring up sales on the computer, handle cash and credit, apply discounts.
• Help restock the sales floor.
• Keep the store neat and clean.
• Assist the Store Manager with recruiting, hiring, and training the sales team.
• Assist with coaching and discipline of the sales team.
• Lead the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
• Prepare deposits and make deposits at the bank.
• Process freight and set the sales floor as shipments arrive.
