Job summary

Shoe Sensation, Inc. in Wilmington, Ohio seeks an Assistant Manager to lead the sales team and deliver excellent customer service. The role combines selling shoes with people management and daily store operations to support growth and internal promotion opportunities.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, driving sales of shoes and accessories, training staff, opening/closing the store, deposits, stocking, and maintaining a neat sales floor while delivering a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with valid driver’s license
• Personal transportation to bank deposits
• Willing to teach others how to sell and lead a team
• Willing to open/close the store, may be alone at times
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift 25–50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide their shopping experience
• Sell shoes, apparel, and accessories
• Ring up sales, take payments, and process discounts
• Help restock the sales floor and keep store clean
• Assist Store Manager with recruiting, hiring, and training
• Coach and discipline sales team and lead to provide best customer experience
• Prepare deposits for bank
• Process freight and set up floor as shipments arrive
