Job summary

J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Assistant Manager in our Florida store to lead teams, drive profitability, and ensure brand excellence. You will coach the sales team, manage daily store operations, and partner with leadership to optimize customer service and community engagement.

You will support recruiting, training, and scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while upholding brand standards and delivering a best-in-class shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience or similar scope.
• Strong customer service focus and brand alignment.
• Ability to lead teams, coach staff and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director & Associate Store Manager to drive profitability and brand standards.
• Own division such as Visual Merchandising, Operations or HR and ensure accountability.
• Oversee store operations, systems and technology and training for staff.
• Assist recruiting, training and development as needed.
• Foster collaboration and a positive working environment for all associates.
• Ensure execution of goals and exceptional customer service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to boost associate performance.
• Create community engagement and loyalty through events.
• Step into multiple sales floor roles as needed.
