Holiday Oil in Tooele, UT is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure outstanding customer service. You will help manage inventory, cash handling, and store safety.

The ideal candidate has retail experience, strong communication, and the ability to open and close on a rotating Sunday-Saturday schedule. A commitment to teamwork and a positive guest experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Training experience preferred.
• Ability to open and close stores on a Sunday–Saturday schedule.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and ensure tasks are completed.
• Customer- and employee-focused attitude.
• Willingness to learn about products and train others.
• Maintain composure with upset customers.
• Ability to adjust schedules and priorities as needed.
• Must have a safe driving record and Utah driver’s license.
• MVR monitoring may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and make bank deposits.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and fuel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper equipment maintenance.
• Assist in scheduling shifts and managing employee performance.
