J.Crew Group (JCG) in Pasadena, CA is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the leadership team. You’ll drive profitability through customer connections, brand loyalty, and strong community engagement while coaching the sales team.

You will oversee divisions like Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, and Service & Selling, recruit and train staff, and collaborate with directors to exceed goals and deliver best-in-class service. Flexibility includes nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience with similar scope.
• Passion for the brand, customers and teams.
• Stay current with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Teamwork, flexibility and courtesy in execution.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch and lift at least 40 pounds (18 kg).

• Support Store Director and Associate Store Manager to impact profitability and brand.
• Own division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.

• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to enhance customer connections.
• Engage the community and drive loyalty through events.
• Step into various sales floor roles when needed.
