- Manage and coordinate project accounting activities within the business unit
- Maintain responsibility for project-level accounting tasks
- Lead, manage, and develop project accounting individuals
- Process and review project-related owner invoices, project costs, and owner and trade payments
- Review budgets, costs, commitments, and billings for financial accuracy
- Prepare and review financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, financial controls, and applicable accounting standards
- Drive process improvement initiatives and support implementation of changes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- 5–7 years of experience in project accounting, financial management, or a related field preferred
- 1–2 years of experience coordinating work or leading project accounting activities preferred
- Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (CCIFP) certification preferred
