A leading healthcare provider in Marquette, MI is seeking an Assistant Manager (RN) to supervise afternoon OR staff and coordinate surgical schedules. This full-time role requires a Michigan RN license and preferred experience in perioperative settings and leadership. Qualifications

State of Michigan RN license required.
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification is required.
2 years of perioperative experience preferred.

Responsabilités

How you will contribute

An Assistant Manager (RN) who excels in this role:

Supervise and coordinate afternoon OR staff.
Coordinates changes to the OR schedule with the anesthesia team and surgeons.
Communicates with the PAR and PACU nursing staff to facilitate improved throughput of patients.
Completes patient and family rounding and service recovery as needed.
Make adjustments to staffing as needed to account for add on or cancelled cases.
Provide patient care as needed to facilitate surgical needs of patients.

What we are looking for

Applicants should have a state of Michigan RN license and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred).

Additional requirements include:

2 years Perioperative Experience (Preferred)
3 years Leadership Experience (Preferred)
CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) (Preferred)
