We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the Lumberton area to hire an experienced Assistant Manufacturing Manager. This is a key leadership role supporting full plant operations, working directly with the Plant Manager to drive production, safety, quality, and team performance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee daily plant operations to meet production schedules and efficiency goals
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production teams
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory standards
• Monitor KPIs including output, downtime, labor efficiency, and scrap
• Identify and implement process improvements (lean manufacturing, waste reduction)
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to improve operations
• Assist with budgeting, cost control, and resource planning
• Troubleshoot production issues and minimize downtime
• Support quality standards and audits
• Step in for Plant Manager when needed
