Job summary

The Nest at Black Hawk is seeking a dependable, energetic Assistant Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our unique glamping resort in Colorado. This role provides leadership support across every department while ensuring guests receive exceptional service and the property operates efficiently.

The Assistant Manager serves as the primary leader during times when the Resort Co‑Managers are off duty and plays a key operational role during busy weekend periods.

Qualifications

• Hospitality/hotel/resort management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and guest service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily resort operations across departments.
• Lead resort operations during evenings and weekends.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate staffing, training, and shift coverage.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and presentation standards.
• Assist with staff coaching and accountability.
• Complete administrative tasks and shift reports.
