Job summary

Leslie's pool supplies is the world’s largest retailer of swimming pool supplies. As the Assistant Manager (AM), you will support store performance, ensuring customer service standards, sales plans, profitability, operating procedures, and merchandising objectives.

You will also learn best practices to train and develop your team and set the expectation of providing excellent customer service as you lead by example. Pay: $17.90 - $19.90 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, or currently attending High School.
• 1 year of customer service experience or retail experience.
• Experience managing/leading a team.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computers.
• Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to learn store operations, sales plans, payroll and expenses.
• Conduct water analysis and mechanical repairs.
• Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed by the team.
• Identify new talent to join the team.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment.
• Assist with merchandising and inventory control.
• Opening and closing duties including daily bank deposits.
