J.Crew is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the leadership team. You’ll help drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and strong community engagement.

You will provide immediate feedback and coaching to the sales team to maximize performance. You will also collaborate with the rest of the leadership team to adapt strategies for business success and ensure smooth operational support as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience with similar scope.

• Stay up to date with fashion trends and industry developments.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results with a connection to the brand and profitability.
• Own your division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development as needed.
• Foster collaboration with the leadership team to support associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to elevate customer connection.
• Create events to engage the community and build loyalty.
• Fill various sales-floor roles as needed.
