Job summary

GDLP Restaurant Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in leading daily restaurant operations, developing team members, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

This role emphasizes coaching leaders, maintaining operational excellence, and building a culture of accountability and growth with opportunities to advance toward General Manager and beyond.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold others accountable.
• Positive attitude with a passion for developing others.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations alongside the General Manager.
• Coach, develop, and support Shift Leaders and team members.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are consistently met.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and team development.
• Monitor labor, sales, inventory, and controllable costs.
• Support restaurant profitability through strong operational execution.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and brand standards are followed.
• Lead by example and create a positive, inclusive team culture.
• Step into any position as needed to support restaurant success.
