GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for a high-energy convenience store in California. You will support operations, customer service, and leadership across shifts to keep the store energized and running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and insurance.
• Physical readiness for cleaning, stocking and outdoor duties.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Strong English communication and basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
• Certification: Food Safety Certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering and merchandising to keep stock levels optimal.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
