The role requires leadership experience in a fast‑paced retail environment, strong communication, and the ability to coach staff, handle customer situations, and manage priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience delivering results in a fast-paced specialty retail environment.
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
• Ability to coach associates and de-escalate customer situations.
• Ability to plan and prioritize according to business needs.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Minimum age: 21 years.

Responsibilities

• Model and lead a customer-first selling culture by driving engagement and loyalty initiatives.
• Analyze business trends using available reporting to identify opportunities.
• Consistently exemplify and foster World Market culture and values.
• Plan for and execute daily tasks in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance, customer-focused team.
• Utilize company tools to educate and validate team execution of key functions.
• Validate and maintain Loss Prevention policies and inventory initiatives.
• Support a safe work environment through safety training and accountability.
