Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Indianapolis to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, and supervise Store Associates.

You’ll organize merchandise, perform opening/closing procedures, handle basic payroll and scheduling, ensure store cleanliness, protect assets, and uphold safety and company policies. This is a full-time position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Support customers with a friendly, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise and maintain stockroom and sales floor areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and support loss prevention.
