Job summary

You will oversee daily activities, assist customers, organize merchandise, conduct opening and closing procedures, help with scheduling and payroll tasks, and ensure shelves are stocked, fixtures are clean, and losses are minimized while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and handling payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Keep store areas neat and aligned with company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and supervise Store Associates.
