Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a qualified supervisor/manager to oversee daily store operations in Colonial Heights. The role includes a mandatory 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics and opportunities for advancement.

You will hire and develop staff, maintain a positive environment, analyze daily sales, and ensure exceptional customer service while meeting banking, safety, and legal requirements. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour plus commission, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to effectively motivate others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, and develop store staff.
• Maintain store staff by interviewing, hiring, and developing employees.
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers.
• Meet self-performance metrics and help develop employees to meet their metrics.
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales.
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements.
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance.
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
