Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Assistant Manager who will lead daily operations, inspire the team, and deliver great guest experiences. You will partner with the Restaurant General Manager to uphold brand standards, train staff, and drive restaurant performance.

You’ll manage execution across profitability, inventory, scheduling, and service, step in as Hourly Shift Coordinator as needed, and help develop future leaders while maintaining Popeyes Cajun Hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 1-3 years of quick service restaurant experience; management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and guest service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communicator with guests, team members, and leadership.
• Familiarity with scheduling and inventory systems.
• Available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Assistant Managers support their Restaurant General Manager (RGM) by investing their time in developing future leaders, upholding brand standards, and assisting the RGM with essential duties. Assistant Managers ensure that Team Members deliver food to guests that is cooked to perfection, made with love, and served up with Popeyes famous Cajun Hospitality.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Manager, you'll be the right hand to the General Manager - keeping the restaurant running smoothly, supporting your team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Your responsibilities include:

• Profitability
• Manage inventory costs through daily, weekly, and monthly inspections
• Place and receive truck orders with precision
• Maintain a detailed list of restaurant assets
• Oversee preventative maintenance and vendor coordination
• Ensure compliance with cash control and security procedures

• Coach and develop Shift Coordinators and Team Members
• Support ongoing training and team development
• Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and positivity
• De-escalate any situation with guests or employees
