The ideal candidate has 1-2+ years of casual dining supervisory experience, a hands-on leadership style, and a passion for hospitality. Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays is required to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of supervisory experience in casual dining preferred.
• Experience teaching and training staff preferred.
• Strong personal and professional integrity.
• Ability to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and good judgment.
• Passion to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to solve problems on the go.
• Passion for hospitality and interacting with guests.
• Sense to be "hands on" when needed.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A passion for food service and providing guests’ exceptional service.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, counter height to shoulder height, across the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining restaurant cleanliness, safety and security protocols; ensuring proper food prep and presentation.
• Addressing guest complaints to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Supervising, training and developing team members to meet Applebee's standards.
• Assisting with inventory management, cost control and profitability.
• Leading and motivating staff to meet daily goals and manage schedules.
• Recruiting, onboarding and training new employees; providing growth opportunities.
• Serving as a point of contact for staff, vendors and internal teams.
