Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 5867 in Alpena, MI. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, and coach a team to deliver excellent service on every shift.

Open availability, weekends and holidays, and a readiness to work second or third shifts are required. Compensation starts at $15.73–$17.73 per hour with weekly pay, a $1000 sign-on bonus after six months, and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Open availability for weekends and holidays, with second or third shifts.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance to complete bank deposits.
• Physically able to perform store duties including cleaning and stocking.
• Proficient English communication and basic math skills; eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment including pumps and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits; oversee store financials.
