Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager who blends strategy, operations, creativity, and people leadership to drive store performance and exceptional customer service.

You will open/close, supervise sales floor and stockroom, manage staffing and payroll, train staff, demonstrate product knowledge, build displays, analyze reports, protect assets, and fulfill omni-channel orders while living the brand values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus and brand awareness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach others and build teams.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to balance multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform Opening and Closing Routines.
• Supervise salesfloor & stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service & seamless operations.
• Conduct staffing and scheduling operations and payroll management.
• Train and develop the non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness, while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets & perform inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems.
• Fulfill OMNI Channel Orders.
• Represent the Brand and exemplify Company Culture and Values.
