Job summary

Garage Clothing Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in all store operations, driving sales and leading a high-performing team on the sales floor. You will help optimize inventory, ensure great customer service, and uphold brand standards across merchandising and digital channels.

The ideal candidate brings 2 years of fashion retail leadership, a passion for fashion, and strong organizational skills for daily decision making and flexibility in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline is an asset.
• 2 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment.
• Passion for fashion, outgoing personality and exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrate organizational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Demonstrate flexibility, innovation and sense of urgency in identifying and reacting to the changing business environment.
• Promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity and learning by sharing best practices.
• Build partnerships and prioritize collaboration.
• Social Media Skills, Mobile Device Skills, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Open-Office.
• Availability to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in all store operations and lead a high-performing team on the sales floor.
• Promote a positive shopping experience for each customer and drive sales results.
• Contribute to inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Support eComm order fulfillment and digital platform engagement.
• Maintain brand presentation and visual merchandising standards and directives in the store.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize store performance and operational efficiency.
