Job summary

GARAGE, a brand within Groupe Dynamite, invites an Assistant Manager to join our Durham, NC store. You will lead a high-performing team, drive sales on the floor and online, and ensure an exceptional customer experience while upholding brand presentation and inventory controls.

You will partner with Store Manager to optimize operations, oversee shipments, replenishment, and eComm fulfillment, and foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes teamwork and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset
• 2 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment
• Has passion for fashion, and displays an outgoing personality and passion for providing exceptional customer service
• Demonstrate organizational skills, problem solving skills, and decision making abilities
• Demonstrate flexibility, innovation and sense of urgency in identifying and reacting to the changing business environment by contributing impactful ideas and solutions
• Demonstrate the ability to promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity and learning by sharing best practices and building on the ideas of others
• Build partnerships and prioritize collaboration
• Social Media Skills, Mobile Device Skills, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Open-Office
• Availability to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as per business needs

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in all store operations and lead a high performing team to drive sales and customer satisfaction
• Promote a positive shopping experience for each customer and maintain brand and visual/merchandising standards
• Contribute to inventory management, shipment processing, replenishment, and eComm order fulfillment
• Oversee daily store operations and collaboration with omnichannel channels to optimize performance
• Foster a culture of teamwork, urgency and continuous improvement
