Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa Falls Church located at 6112 Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22044 is searching for a rock star Assistant Spa Manager! Our ideal candidate has 1–3 years of leadership experience, is a responsible, driven individual and has a passion for driving performance amongst their team. We are looking for someone interested in a long-term role with tremendous opportunity for professional growth. Prior spa industry experience or membership-driven sales experience is a plus, but not a requirement for consideration. Our goal is to provide our valued members and guests with a world-class experience, and our Assistant Managers are a critical link to create a world-class client experience. Working hand in hand with the General Manager, our Assistant Managers set the tone for the spa, coach and train the front desk and sales team to excellence, drive membership and gift card sales performance, and grow the business.

As the Assistant Manager, you will:

1. Provide excellent customer service and experiences to all guests and members
2. Maintain personal sales performance, meeting or exceeding expectations
3. Oversee and manage daily operations of the front desk
4. Assist General Manager in managing sales performance by driving key metrics
5. Assist in the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training process
6. Train, monitor, and coach performance
7. Membership education and sales - including sales goals and incentives
8. Passionately promote products and services
9. Administrative duties in conjunction with the General Manager including reporting, cash handling, etc.

Role Requirements:

1. Passion for communicating with people and providing excellent service
2. Capability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays
3. Ability to occasionally travel for training sessions, conferences, meetings with clients, or other business-related activities
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. A fast learner, with a positive attitude
6. Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
7. Computer proficiency; knowledge of retail/appointment booking computer systems is a plus
8. A strong team player with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
9. Exceptional organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking
10. Critical thinking skills, including customer conflict resolution

Compensation Package: We offer a competitive compensation package designed to reward your contributions and drive your success:

1. Base Salary: Enjoy a base hourly rate ranging from $16-$18, tailored to reflect your experience and skills.
2. Bonus: You'll have the opportunity to earn monthly performance bonuses, with the average bonus ranging from $300 to $400 per month, based on individual and team achievements.
3. Commission: Benefit from our uncapped commission structure, providing substantial earning potential based on your sales performance. Our top performers typically earn an additional $1-$2 per hour in commission.
4. Total Average Earnings: With our competitive base rate, lucrative bonuses, and uncapped commission structure, our Assistant Managers typically earn an average total annual compensation ranging from $35,000 to $44,000, depending on individual performance.
