Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager to blend strategy, operations, and people leadership in a fast-paced retail environment in Ohio. You will drive sales, oversee opening/closing routines, and ensure excellent customer service while managing staffing and payroll.

You will coach and develop sales associates, apply brand knowledge to floor sets, and lead by example to promote growth and internal advancement within the store organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing routines.
• Supervise salesfloor and stockroom, ensuring excellent service and seamless operations.
• Staffing, scheduling operations and payroll management.
• Train and develop non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and drive sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decisions.
• Protect store assets and conduct inventory control.
• Operate register and POS systems.
