Job summary

HIT, Inc. in Bismarck, ND is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead our team of Direct Support Professionals. You will supervise staff, provide training and support, and work with the Manager to ensure quality care and engaging programs for every individual we serve.

Responsibilities include supervising Direct Support Professionals, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth daily operations while addressing concerns and providing performance feedback as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years DD related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must become DD certified within 18 months of hire.
• Six‑month introductory period.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or General Education Development diploma (GED) preferred. Prefer two years DD related experience and/or training. Must become DD certified within 18 months of hire. This position has a six‑month introductory period.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Will meet and maintain the required certifications to become a medication technician and DD certified as required for the position.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees of the organization.
