Job summary

Goodwill Manasota is seeking a Donation Center Attendant Assistant Manager to lead daily operations at our donation center. You will supervise donation processing, staffing at ADCs, and drive a collaborative team culture focused on excellent customer service and efficiency.

The role involves training and coaching team members, coordinating collections, and ensuring safe vehicle operations while maximizing profitability and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide world class customer service to all internal and external customers
• Manage and coordinate donation processing and in-site (GGC) and off-site collections (ADCs) ensuring accurate donation counts
• Ensure appropriate staffing at ADCs and assist recruiting and hiring of ADC team members
• Resolve conflicts among collection, production, and distribution of donated products
• Operate assigned vehicles safely and legally
• Train, coach, develop and manage performance of ADC team members for maximum efficiency and profitability

As a Donation Center Attendant Assistant Manager, you will:

• Provide world class customer service to all internal and external customers
• Manages and coordinates the applications of an operational design which includes the processing of donations and in-site (GGC) and off-site collections (ADCs). Ensure accurate donation count
• Ensure appropriate staffing at ADC’s at all times. Assists recruiting and hire all ADC team members. Plans to cover ADC labor shortages.
• Proactively resolves all conflicts among collection, production, and distribution of donated products.
• Operates assigned vehicles in a safe and lawful manner
• Trains, coaches, develops and manages performance of ADC team members resulting in maximum team synergy, efficiency and profitability.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Clean and safe driving record
• Bachelors Degree in business, operations or related preferred
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
