Job summary

SERVE Hospitality Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in Taylor, AK area. You will lead by example, develop high‑performing teams, and deliver outstanding guest experiences, ensuring the café operates at its best every day.

As a hospitality‑driven leader, you’ll coach staff, optimize operations, and uphold food safety and brand standards while maintaining a positive, upbeat culture and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college a plus.
• 18+ years old; legal work authorization.
• 1+ year restaurant leadership in QSR or fast casual; 2+ years preferred.
• Legally authorized to work under State and Federal guidelines.
• Flexible with evenings and weekends.
• Active with standing, walking, and light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Coach and motivate team during every shift.
• Deliver friendly, accurate service and resolve guest concerns.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and brand standards.
• Execute opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training to build a strong bench.
• Support labor management, inventory control, and waste reduction to meet targets.
• Partner with the General Manager on sales initiatives, cost control, and shift readiness.
• Promote an upbeat, hospitality-first culture where teams feel supported and empowered.
