Tropical Management Holdings, Inc. Ferndale, Michigan is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager to drive guest experiences, lead a high-performing team, and ensure daily operations run smoothly in our Ferndale cafe.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and legally eligible to work.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college a plus.
• 1+ year restaurant leadership experience in QSR or fast casual; 2+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team members across shifts to deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Provide friendly, accurate service and resolve guest concerns.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and brand standards.
• Oversee opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures with accountability.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding and ongoing training to build a strong bench.
• Support labor, inventory control and waste reduction targets.
• Collaborate with General Manager on sales initiatives and cost control.
