Cattlemens in Selma, CA is hiring an Assistant Manager to help run daily operations of our family-owned steakhouse. You’ll lead service staff, support the General Manager, and uphold our standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction.

This role offers a $72k-$80k salary, a $5,000 signing bonus, relocation assistance, and strong development opportunities including ServSafe certification and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Two years experience as a restaurant manager in a full service restaurant.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Financial management experience.
• Ability to train, develop and lead a team.
• Technological skills in the programs listed above.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and most holidays.

This position offers a $5,000 signing bonus, with 50% payable after six months of active employment in good standing, and the remaining 50% payable after one year of active employment in good standing

What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll support the General Manager in leading daily restaurant operations while building a culture of excellence. You’ll:

• Lead, coach, and inspire service staff to deliver Western Syle hospitality.
• Support hiring, training, scheduling, and team development.
• Oversee food & beverage service, inventory, and cost controls.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and a welcoming environment inside and outside the restaurant.
• Partner with leadership on budgets, marketing, and business initiatives.
• Uphold Cattlemens’ commitment to uncompromising hospitality and guest satisfaction.
