Job summary

ACGBBQ, LLC., a Sonny’s BBQ licensed franchisee, is seeking a motivated restaurant manager to lead store teams and uphold service standards. This role focuses on hiring, training, scheduling, and maintaining a safe, engaging environment.

You will oversee daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, and report to the General Manager. The position requires at least two years of restaurant management, strong communication, and proficiency with office software. Expect 45–50 hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Speak/read English; interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Write routine reports and present to groups.
• 2+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Solid reading, writing, and math skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating hourly team members.
• Ensure restaurants have a safe, professional, and engaging atmosphere.
• Act as go-to resource for hourly staff daily.
• Provide clear benchmarks and expectations so shifts run smoothly.
• Oversee team performance through follow-up and communication.
• Respond to immediate store needs.
• Ensure guests receive exceptional service and a memorable experience.
• Implement and enforce operations policies and programs within the store.
• Work 45–50 hours weekly as needed.

Essential Duties

• Assist in hiring, training, developing, scheduling, and evaluating hourly team members in the store.
• Ensure restaurants have a safe, professional, and engaging atmosphere.
• Serve as the go‑to resource for hourly team members, addressing their individual needs and concerns daily.
• Provide clear benchmarks and expectations so each shift runs smoothly.
• Oversee and ensure team performance meets company expectations through constant follow‑up and communication.
• Respond to immediate store needs.
• Ensure every guest receives exceptional service and a memorable experience.
• Execute all operations policies, procedures, and programs within the store and ensure they are followed by others.
• Work at least 45 hours per week with flexibility for a 50‑hour work week during peak seasons or business needs.
• Report information to the General Manager through plans of action, AORs, goals, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Experience

• Ability to speak and read English, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of guests or restaurant employees.
• At least two years of restaurant management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong time‑management skills.
• Solid reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in using computers, including Microsoft Office programs.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Managers regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
