Job summary

ACGBBQ, LLC., a licensed franchisee of Sonny’s BBQ, is seeking a restaurant manager to build a long‑lasting management career. You will lead hourly team members, hire, train, and schedule staff and ensure a safe, professional, engaging atmosphere.

This role requires strong English communication, solid store operations oversight, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Expect 45–50 hour weeks with peak-season flexibility, plus competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English and to interpret safety rules and procedures.
• At least two years of restaurant management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong time-management abilities and basic math skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hiring, training, developing, scheduling, and evaluating hourly team members in the store.
• Ensure restaurants have a safe, professional, and engaging atmosphere.
• Serve as the go‑to resource for hourly team members, addressing their needs and concerns daily.
• Provide clear benchmarks and expectations so each shift runs smoothly.
• Oversee and ensure team performance meets company expectations through follow‑up and communication.
• Respond to immediate store needs.
• Ensure every guest receives exceptional service and a memorable experience.
• Execute all operations policies, procedures, and programs within the store and ensure they are followed.
• Work at least 45 hours per week with flexibility for a 50‑hour week during peak seasons or business needs.
• Report information to the General Manager through plans of action, AORs, goals, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Experience

• Ability to speak and read English, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of guests or restaurant employees.
• At least two years of restaurant management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong time‑management skills.
• Solid reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in using computers, including Microsoft Office programs.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Managers regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
