Sightglass Coffee Roasters Llc is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering exceptional coffee experiences. You will oversee shift flow, delegate tasks, teach staff, and uphold product and service standards across beans, drinks, food, and merchandise.

You will lead by example, manage scheduling, assist in hiring, and maintain inventory and safety procedures. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and a customer-first attitude in a fast-paced cafe

Responsabilités

• Maintains shift flow by delegating tasks and ensuring staff focus on customer support and sales.
• Communicates staff difficulties, triumphs, and feedback to the Store Manager.
• Educates staff and customers on current product offerings including beans, drinks, food, and merchandise.
• Supports team to anticipate needs, ensure smooth operations, and uphold Sightglass standards.
• Adheres to policies including cash handling, product standards, and safety requirements.
• Aids in staffing and scheduling within budget; participates in interviewing.
• Maintains cash drawers, cashier turn-ins and deposits per procedures.
• Conducts monthly inventory as assigned.
• Sets a positive, solution-oriented tone for the team.
• Ensures training and quality standards set by Education team.

Overview:The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager by ensuring an efficient and productive workflow throughout their assigned shift. In the absence of a Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will assume cafe responsibility and serve as the person in charge.ASMs are expected to be aware of the needs of the business, manage the counter flow, and delegate tasks to the operating team. ASMs are responsible for sharing feedback with management regarding shift outcomes and business needs. Position accountability includes: coaching, staff training, staff performance and development, service standards, cash handling, scheduling, customer incidents, property maintenance, inventory management and orders, and other assigned administrative tasks.
