Job summary

Fourteen Foods Career Center in Norfolk, NE is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to deliver quality customer service and food products while learning restaurant management responsibilities.

The role requires 2+ years in food-service leadership, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background checks; ServSafe/food handler permits may be required. Evening and weekend shifts are common.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as restaurant shift manager, assistant manager, or similar management role.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Background check and motor vehicle record check required.
• Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Communicate effectively in English.

Position Overview:

TheRestaurantAssistant Managerprovides quality customer service and food products using standards set by Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen to enhance the customer’s visit, while assisting with and learning restaurant management responsibilities.

Assistant Manager Qualifications:

• 2+ years previous experience as a restaurant Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar food service management role.


• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.


• Must be 18 years of age or older.


• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.


• Must have reliable transportation.


• Must successfully pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.


• Possession of Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).


• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
