Job Summary

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing an assigned location, consistently driving revenue, maintaining cosmetic appearance, establishing team culture and ensuring overall operations to provide a world‑class member experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring the club is fully staffed, trained, and cleared to operate from the Assistant Manager down to Member Services Representatives.
• Create and establish a welcoming, safe atmosphere for members, prospects, guests, and staff by maintaining consistent customer guidelines.
• Maintain team effectiveness in member sign‑ups, cancellations, billing updates, past‑due accounts, transfers, upgrades, and tour processes.
• Communicate equipment and cosmetic repair needs to the General Manager promptly.
• Lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in all job sectors.
• Submit accurate documentation regarding club operations, members, and staff to H.R. and Regional Manager.
• Keep current with corporate training, membership promotions, and new policies.
• Run daily reports to analyze club performance, identify declines or opportunities, and assess sales performance.
• Co‑coach team members on personal development, including meeting sessions, development plans, bench planning, and retraining as needed.
• Drive revenue through memberships, tanning lotions, and retail sales.
• Work cross‑functionally with the General Manager and Regional Manager to implement new updates, processes, and OKRs.
• Maximize member retention by ensuring high standards of customer experience, cleanliness, and equipment upkeep.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure club cleanliness, operational performance, and successful bi‑weekly inspections.
• Coach each Member Services Representative on policy, brand, and membership knowledge.
• Address daily member inquiries in Listen360 promptly.
• Attend company weekly and monthly meetings for updates and training.

Qualifications / Requirements

• 1‑2 years of successful unit management experience.
• Experience driving top‑line revenue and hiring, training, and building successful teams.

Physical Demands
