Job summary

Fourteen Foods is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager for our Lincoln, NE location. You will deliver quality customer service and oversee food product standards in line with Fourteen Foods and Dairy Queen brand guidelines, while supporting and learning restaurant management responsibilities.

The role requires strong leadership, a reliable schedule, and hands-on experience in fast-paced service environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in a restaurant or food service.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum age 18.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass background and motor vehicle record checks.
• Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification where required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Position Overview

TheRestaurantAssistant Manager provides quality customer service and food products using standards set by Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen to enhance the customer’s visit, while assisting with and learning restaurant management responsibilities.

Assistant Manager Qualifications

• 2+ years previous experience as a restaurant Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar food service management role.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must successfully pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.
• Possession of Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
