Job summary

Dairy Queen in Nicholasville, KY seeks an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to uphold quality service and product standards while learning restaurant leadership.

You will support daily operations, supervise staff, ensure safety and cleanliness, and apply Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen standards to delight guests.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in restaurant management or similar role.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Background and motor vehicle checks required.
• Food handler permit and/or ServSafe certification.
• Flexible for varied shifts; evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Strong English communication skills.

Position Overview

The Restaurant Assistant Manager provides quality customer service and food products using standards set by Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen to enhance the customer’s visit, while assisting with and learning restaurant management responsibilities.

Assistant Manager Qualifications

• 2+ years previous experience as a restaurant Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar food service management role.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must successfully pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.
• Possession of Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
