Overview

Artemis Solutions has partnered with a leading manufacturing organization in Kentucky to identify an experienced Assistant Manager of Maintenance for their 3rd Shift operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader looking to join a stable and growing manufacturing environment where they can make a direct impact on operations, equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Driving preventative maintenance programs and minimizing equipment downtime
• Managing facility systems including electrical, HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, pumps, valves, and process controls
• Coordinating repairs, inspections, vendor relationships, and maintenance scheduling
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity, and operational efficiency
• Managing maintenance documentation, compliance reporting, and inventory for tools/parts
• Helping build and mentor strong maintenance teams through training and leadership

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of maintenance leadership experience
• Strong manufacturing maintenance background
• Experience overseeing preventative maintenance programs
• Knowledge of industrial systems, troubleshooting, and facility maintenance
• Ability to lead teams and drive accountability
• Strong communication and organizational skills
