Job summary

Subway is seeking a team-oriented Assistant Manager/Shift Manager to join our Louisiana location. You will focus on guest experience, food quality, restaurant upkeep, inventory control, and staff scheduling while ensuring safety standards.

Responsibilities include managing 4-12 staff, coordinating events, and aiding with product ordering. Training will be provided. Full-time and part-time day/evening/weekend shifts vary by location.

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
