Job summary

Subway Team is seeking an Assistant Manager who will focus on seven key areas: guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory control, staff scheduling, safety and teamwork.

In addition to the core duties, you will manage a staff of 4–12, assist in planning events and promotions, arrange required training, help with product ordering and inventory management, and coach teammates to deliver great guest experiences. This is a full-time role at Indiana locations.

Qualifications

• Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members.
• Computer knowledge is desirable.
• Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
