Job summary

Halfords is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive the performance of the centre. You’ll support the Centre Manager, lead the team, and keep the customer journey at the heart of everything we do, from workshop activity to boosting sales and delivering great service.

We offer an uncapped bonus scheme with an average annual additional earnings, a competitive base salary, and extensive benefits with strong progression and training including ATA & MOT qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction through effective management.
• Ability to coach and train colleagues in real time.
• Experience meeting Health & Safety compliance standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• IT proficient and quick to learn in-house systems.
• Current valid driving licence.

• On-target earnings up to £45,422
• Comprising a base salary of £33,481 - £36,322
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £9,100 per year.

• Experience / Ability to deliver high customer satisfaction and experience through effective management
• Experience / Ability to deliver coaching/training in the moment to colleagues
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems
• A current valid driving licence
