Job summary

Holiday Oil in Spanish Fork is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations and lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will supervise staff, handle cash, monitor inventory, and ensure top customer service while maintaining store safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Retail experience preferred and training experience is a plus.
• Ability to open and close stores on a Sunday–Saturday schedule.
• Comfort with cash handling, POS systems, and basic computer tasks.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills are required.
• A safe driving history and Utah driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service.
• Manage cash handling, daily sales reports, and deposits.

Position overview:

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to support daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and assist in managing staff and inventory. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and make bank deposits.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and fuel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns, professionally resolving issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
• Assist in scheduling shifts and managing employee performance.

Skills & Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Retail experience desired
• Training experience preferred
• Must be able to open and close stores across Sunday through Saturday schedule
• Previous experience in customer service preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash registers and POS
• Basic math and computer skills
