Job summary

Firehouse Subs restaurant seeks a dedicated leader responsible for profitable operation, compliance with health, wage, and safety regulations, and high standards of guest service. You will supervise shifts, monitor costs, and ensure policy adherence while promoting the brand’s culture and mission.

You will work under the General Manager, help interview and train staff, and participate in operations planning.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including health, wage, age, and ADA requirements
• Enforce all Firehouse Subs policies and procedures
• Drive profitability through food cost, labor, and sales management
• Lead restaurant team to deliver superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness
• Assist GM with operations plans and company initiatives
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining staff
• Ensure timely completion of reports and legal documents
• Promote Public Safety Foundation initiatives
• Represent the brand professionally at all times
• Communicate effectively with GM/Owner on business-impacting issues
• Work on your feet up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
• Perform other duties as assigned by GM/Owner

Position Summary

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs® Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance to all local, state and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, and any other required regulations for legal operation.
• Ensure knowledge, adherence and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs® Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure profitability of the business by operating shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.
• Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs® "culture" and mission and vision statements.
• Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
• Ensure all required programs, reports and legal documents are accurate, complete and accomplished on schedule.
• Implement and promote all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
• Represent Firehouse Subs® in a professional, positive manner at all times.
• Communicate effectively to the GM/Owner on all issues that may impact business.
• Be able to work on their feet for up to 13 hours at a time.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform any other duties assigned by GM/Owner.
