Job description

This job contributes to Jimmy John’s success by assisting the General Manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. This job assists and supervises a team of store employees to create and maintain a Freaky Fast, hospital clean, environment. This job requires the ability to deploy team members and delegate tasks to complete daily systems and procedures with 100% integrity. The incumbent is responsible for acting in accordance with Jimmy John’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supporting General manager in staffing, training, and development of team members
• Constantly review key business indicators and looks for opportunities to make positive change
• Ensures a safe food environment
• Communicates clearly, concisely, and accurately to ensure effective operations
• Directing employees to complete tasks and to various work stations
• Executing store systems and procedures during shifts
• Follows all operational procedures, including those for cash handling
• Maintains a calm exterior presence during periods of high volume and sets the pace for the team
• Delivers Outstanding customer service to all customers by acting with a customer first attitude
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Assist with new employee training
