Job summary

McAlister's is seeking an Assistant Manager to collaborate with the Restaurant Manager in running a profitable, well-operated restaurant. You will focus on cost control, sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in casual dining, a high school diploma or GED, and a ServSafe license is preferred. Maintain a polished appearance and strong communication with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and developing goals and action plans.

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll partner with the Restaurant Manager to run a profitable, well-operated restaurant. You’ll help control costs, build sales, and maximize profits while ensuring great customer service, strong team performance, and a professional restaurant environment.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry is required.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Servsafe License preferred, or able to obtain a State-approved license – must be maintained per State Mandates.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership, developing goals and action plans for personal/professional growth.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and follow uniform standards.
• Remain calm in a fast-paced atmosphere and demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
• Display a positive and outwardly friendly attitude towards all guests – Live the McAlister’s Touch.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
