Job summary

Workstream is hiring for an Assistant Manager at a casual restaurant location in Texas. You will partner with the Restaurant Manager to ensure a warm, guest-focused experience while driving sales and controlling costs.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage a fast-paced team. Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience in casual dining, a High School Diploma or GED, and the preferred ServSafe certification or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in casual restaurant operations.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• ServSafe license preferred or must obtain an approved state license.
• Strong leadership, goal setting and action planning abilities.
• Availability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and follow uniform standards.
• Remain calm in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills.
• Positive and friendly attitude towards guests.

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll partner with the Restaurant Manager to run a profitable, well-operated restaurant. You’ll help control costs, build sales, and maximize profits while ensuring great customer service, strong team performance, and a professional restaurant environment.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry is required.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Servsafe License preferred, or able to obtain a State-approved license – must be maintained per State Mandates.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership, developing goals and action plans for personal/professional growth.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and follow uniform standards.
• Remain calm in a fast-paced atmosphere and demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
