Job summary

Subway Beatty is seeking an Assistant Manager to focus on delivering an excellent guest experience, ensuring quality food service, and keeping the restaurant clean and inviting. You will supervise a staff of 4–12, assist with event planning and promotions, and coordinate training as needed to drive store success.

The role requires strong communication, supervisory experience in a restaurant, and comfort with POS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience at least 1 year.

As part of the Subway® Team, you as an Assistant Manager will focus on seven main things:

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience at least 1 year.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
