Job summary

The Tipton Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the apartment community in Richardson, TX. You will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance tasks and respond to emergencies on an on-call basis.

Responsibilities include grounds work, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical tasks, and assisting with carpentry and painting projects. A High School Diploma or GED and HVAC certification plus 3 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of maintenance experience with HVAC certification.
• Provide or use of own tools.
• Must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and staff.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• On-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Grounds work such as trash pick-up and light landscaping.
• Assist with maintenance: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative maintenance.
