Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, no air brake restriction, and interstate status.
• Six years of progressively responsible experience in roadway/maintenance.
• Successful completion of a work simulation examination and a medical-physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Supervises crews in maintenance operations including mowing, shoulder work, patching, and bridge deck repair.
• Assigns tasks, coordinates schedules, and allocates equipment.
• Provides safety training and equipment operation instruction.
• Evaluates employee performance and handles promotions, transfers, discipline.
• Oversees cleaning and routine maintenance of vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
