Job summary

Trinity Property Consultants is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor in Waltham, MA to ensure optimal operation of apartment community systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor, drive process improvements, and mentor junior staff to uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years in multifamily or hospitality facilities maintenance, with advanced experience in multiple trades, and EPA Universal

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Facilities Maintenance in Multifamily or Hospitality.
• Advanced experience in two or more trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, etc.
• Working knowledge of appliances required.

Responsibilities

• Support Maintenance Supervisor in setting scope, technical specifications, budget tracking, scheduling, material and equipment requirements, subcontractor/vendor bidding and management, and overall planning and execution of facility and maintenance projects.
• Responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the community meet operations and safety standards.
• Assist in the management, development, and mentorship of facilities team members in diagnosing problems and making repairs.
• Complete unit inspections as needed and maintains orderly documentation.
• Maintain inventory of basic personal tools to complete task requirements including but not limited to a hammer, screwdriver, adjustable wrench, tape measure, and flashlight.
• Organize, maintain, and utilize provided supplies in a cost-effective manner.
• Pre-diagnose and troubleshoot various building systems prior to scheduling repairs.
• Repair issues and provide knowledge in areas including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, etc.
• Present an appearance appropriate to the image of the company.
• Complete additional tasks or duties assigned by community leadership.
